Black Suitcase is about this whole lifestyle we've lived of trying to make something special. We keep trying to make something better than the last thing in hopes that one day there will be some sort of reward. We're not expecting to become some sort of super stars or millionaires but we want to be able to make a living and continue to explore our own musical potential. Life's other responsibilities make that increasingly difficult. So this song is sort of about how We'd give it one more effort to really push something and then inevitably succumbing to reality's demands. Music will always happen for us in one way or another...life happens too, unfortunately.
