about
This song is just about hating your job. We've all have had jobs we've hated or still do hate but we all like being able to pay our bills. Sometimes this relationship will make you feel like your stuck in a re-occurring nightmare, but it's the most boring nightmare you've ever had, and you start thinking about different paths you might have taken throughout life and you wonder if it's too late to make a major change. And then you get our of your paint truck, put on your uniform or suit and tie and put on that old familiar fake smile of a broken man.
lyrics
maybe a drive is all I need
maybe a song is all I needed
cause I can't focus
I can't breathe
take me away from everything
feels so mindless
where's my blindfold?
maybe this life is not for me
maybe I'm not who I should be
you ever think maybe you could change it?
but then you find yourself back here
feels so mindless
where's my blindfold?
all it is
is openness
open doors
defeatist grin
don't know where or to begin
if I could find the road to take
I'd close the door and drive away
tonight.
